SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion ‘ is breaking all records with its successful run at the box-office. The film which is in its second week has garnered an estimated Rs 16.5 crore across India, on its second Monday, according to BoxofficeIndia.com.
Within its first week at the ticket window, the film collected as much as Rs 245 crore, while the second weekend started on a roaring note with collections recording in at Rs 20 crore on Friday and Rs 26 crore on Saturday and Sunday’s estimated total was reported as Rs 32 crore approx. Now, Monday’s collection takes the grand total of the film’s India business to approximately Rs 341.5 crore.
The second instalment sees Prabhas, who portrayed the character of Amarendra Baahubali, essaying the role of his son Mahendra Baahubali. While Rana Daggubati reprised his role as Bhallaladeva, Anushka Shetty as Devasena, Ramya Krishnan as Rajmata Sivagami, Tamannaah as Avanthika and Sathyaraj as Kattappa, the film is a magnum opus that promises gravity defying action and ancient war scene brought to life by VFX.
