Akshay Kumar Apologises For Violating The Code Of Conduct For The Tricolour During ICC Women’s World Cup 2017

Akshay Kumar was one of the most excited celebs for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017. The actor was in London and travelled barefoot to catch the train to reach the Lords stadium. His enthusiasm to watch the match was on a whole new level. The Toilet EK Prem Katha actor held the National flag in his hand to cheer for Team India, but he held the National Flag in a wrong way. As soon as his picture went viral on the internet, he was criticised for the same. However, the actor has now apologised and removed the picture from the internet.
He tweeted, “Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor. Didn’t mean to offend anyone, the picture has been removed.” Akshay indeed deserves an applause for the apology as the actor shut the unnecessary controversy over it. Agree showbiz readers?
The actor not only motivated the girls by cheering for them. But even met them and cheered them for putting up such a great game. He shared the picture with the girls and captioned, “Even Broken Hearts Can Laugh!! These Women have started a revolution & I couldn’t be more proud #WWC17Final.” Well, we too are immensely proud of the girls who made it to the finals. They haven’t lost, they have won our hearts and how.
Talking about Akshay, he is right now in London to shoot for his forthcoming film Gold helmed by his favorite director Neeraj Pandey. The film also stars Mouni Roy and her pictures along with AK created a huge stir on the internet. Apart from shooting Gold, he is also busy with Toilet- EK Prem Katha promotions. The film is slated to release on August 11, 2017.
